Karla + Paul | Kansas City Engagement

These two love (Jay)Birds met at Truman State during their freshman year and, as fate would have it, were together by their senior year. Now they're Jayhawk fans, living in Kansas City with their awesome Rhodesian Ridgeback, Wallace, and staying busy planning their wedding in St. Charles, Missouri.

We started their E-session right where Paul proposed to Karla in the Plaza. After wondering around there a bit and some nearby neighborhoods, we also went to a park near their home until we ran out of light...so be looking for the Part II of this session soon.

My absolute favorite moment was right in the beginning

I loved spending the afternoon with these two since they were so laid back and having fun and I cannot wait for the wedding this Fall!

Eat, drink and be merry

We had a great Easter weekend and I hope you all did too. I stayed busy with watching the final four at Johnny's sisters house Saturday, although I really just ate the great food and then had to ask who won the game and then celebrating Easter at Johnny's other sisters house on Sunday...and again I ate the great food and drank some wine. (Hello run on sentence) There was also a trip to the City Market and and E-session thrown in the mix. Here's a couple photos from yesterday.

No worries, no chicks were harmed... And, here's a family photo by using the tripod and a delay. I'm not in many photos because I really prefer to be on the other side of the camera.
