Jackie and Matt had a gorgeous ceremony and reception in Defiance and I was so excited to get an hour with them again in Forest Park for a Post Session.  It was a beautiful Fall day and here are some favorites...

Rebecca and Brian are one of my first couples for Kansas City engagement and wedding photography and I couldn't be happier to work with them!  They have a silly side that just came out and I love that in photography.  We went to the Kansas City Liberty Memorial, which is just gorgeous in the Fall and had a fun time getting to know each other.  I refer to Engagement sessions as first dates.  Second date being a wedding! =)  Can't wait to see the wedding day you've both worked so hard to plan and photograph you both again soon!

See you soon!

I knew that Christine and James were my kind of people during their engagement session.  They're so laid back and fun-loving and more importantly completely in love.  But, it was during their wedding that they sealed the deal and stole my heart!  These two had a wonderful day because they were relaxed and having fun and wouldn't have it any other way.  And, they did play an O.A.R. song for their first dance =)  Congratulations to you both!  Thank you to their wonderful family and friends for also being so great to be with all day.  Here are some favorites.  Hope you're enjoying your honeymoon!

As Fall approaches, a Friday night wedding can leave us with zero natural light images, but Andria and Jeff planned a unique (as you can see from the cake!) and Halloween themed wedding last Friday night that was just right for the dramatic effects that come from this!  And, isn't their 3-year-old daughter adorable!

Danny is the handsome son of one of my neighbors and he's just turned one year!  We were able to go out nearby and get some great portraits despite a slightly fussy day.  I love how at 12 months, children start to look more like a kid rather than a baby, but it reminds me also that the first year of your child's life is so fleeting!  Here's some favorites from the day.
