This is just a photography blog quickie, but I couldn't wait to post a few images from Saturday. I'm sure Kaylee & Trevor are enjoying their honeymoon in Tennessee right now and here's a couple images from their Kansas wedding to hold them over. I also want to give my Second shooter, Kristy Brulez a great big THANK YOU for coming along.

I love this wedding band that Kaylee engraved for her groom.
It was such an upbeat and fun day for photography!
And, Here's a couple of us in action as "Wedding photographers." ha! Here I am at the ceremony.
I call this next one, Crouching Kristy, Hidden Camera!

And, talk about hilarious. Notice the horse behind me?? He just finished sneaking up on me and nudging me in the back as I'm standing on hay here.
I can't wait to show you all some more photos from this day and tell you all about the wedding details Kaylee, Trevor and their families worked so hard on. Soon!

I've been working on this blog entry since Thursday! and it's not even that long so you can see I've been busy lately. I have a couple baby photography sessions and one AMAZING wedding from Saturday with Kaylee and Trevor next up also. And, I just actually met with a really cool chick planning her wedding, Wendy. She actually got the, "First look," of these images but here it finally is, Syd's 4 month blog letter. Every month just keeps getting better.
Sydnie has finally met all of the family. Here she is with her Aunt Amy and Aunt Shuree. She also met her Uncle Tim and cousins Arin and Morgan that day, drove 4 hours and attended church...She's a busy lady.

We tried some rice cereal and I think she really enjoyed chewing on those little spoons. I love those little spoons and think I may start using them also! Here's one of those funny expressions I was talking about in her three month baby blog.

We've been playing around a lot in the studio this month since she can prop herself up real well.
I finally got her smiling! And below is one of my most cherished expressions. This is like her saying, "Really, you've got that camera out again, really."
So, on to the fun part... The 4 things I love about Syd. For starters, that expression right up there. (yes, all of them, but for specifics sake, the last one) What a doll! 2. I love that she is a perfect recipe of 1 half me and 1 half her daddy. She has my nose and maybe lips... She has Johnnys ears, toes and I think she's getting his green eyes! They still haven't changed all the way yet. 3. Sydnie has taught me many lessons, very quickly. On the first day home from the hospital, she taught me to always drive like the car next to you is transporting someone home for the first time. And, I should have learned this one by now, but she has taught me that I really don't know more than my parents, they have 27 years on me. And, finally she taught me to treat everyone like I would want them to treat her. Sounds cheesy, I know, but everyone is someone's baby. And the fourth thing I love about Syd during her fourth month of life is her curiosity. She knows when something is new and different and it's so interesting to her. I just love watching that. Happy four months baby doll!
Love,
Mom

I recently received this new guest book album and I just love it! The Engagement Guest Book album allows you to show off your hard work from your engagement session at your wedding and serves a second function; a creative way for your guests to leave you a message to keep on your wedding day. Here are some images that will show you the photo wrap cover design, the lay-flat pages and a couple of the design layouts...I don't want to give it all away!

If you are interested in one of these for your wedding or any other album, send me an e-mail!

Last weekend we went to St. Louis to photograph Leah & Tony on their wedding day. These two planned an exciting day starting at Trinity Lutheran Church in the historic Soulard neighborhood. After the ceremony we all drove around the downtown areas stopping by the St. Louis Arch grounds, the City Garden, Kiener Plaza, and the new downtown Schnucks before finally making our way to the Franklin Room for the reception. The Franklin Room is a unique World's Fair vintage ballroom also in Soulard. These two couldn't have chosen a better place with the style of their wedding and details. Here's a first look portrait with the bride and groom.

Lovely pictures!!!! :)
(05.29.10)Beautiful photos on your blog! I love when photographers post their clients images and sneak in a few of themselves in action. It makes everything so much more real and showing how much fun they're having! Love your camera strap too btw!!
