Some new things I'm excited about....

New wedding photography disc cases!  The first batch took some time arriving but now I'm stocked up!  I really love this one.  Favorite new feature...It has a magnetic field to keep it closed.  Baby sessions will feature a white, pink or blue...

And, I can't wait to use this new basket with my next newborn photography session.

kansas-city-newborn-photography-04.jpgLove it!

I know I've basically missed Syd's 5 month letter.  I may post it with her 6 month which is less than one week away.

Enjoy your week!

I love that I get to pull out my favorite photo of Mugsy this week for the I Heart Faces pet week.  This is Mugs, my lovable Basset Hound, at about 6 months when he was a city dog in Chicago.  He's now an old man at 5 years this July and living in the country in Kansas!  What a long, strange trip it's been =)

I'm in love with Elizabeth & Nick being in love.  How terribly cute are these two!  We went to  Kansas City for their engagement photography session this week and they made my job look easy.  Both were having a great time (which is the agenda among getting some awesome shots!) and look how photogenic these two are!  Elizabeth & Nick met in college at KU during a church retreat and got engaged at Teller's in Lawrence.  They're planning a wedding this August at the St. Lawrence Catholic Center with a reception at Maceli's.  Can't wait!

And, of course, I have someone jumping...We actually messed with Elizabeth a little on this one and didn't tell her Nick was going to jump.  Anything to get a spontaneous laugh!

Kansas-City-engagement-photography-11.jpgI had a blast with these two and can't wait to photograph the wedding this August!

Congratulations,

This week over at I Heart Faces it's barefoot week to help raise awareness for Soles 4 Souls!  This is an amazing charity and it's so easy.  $1 = 1 pair of shoes.

I happen to have a LOT of sole photos.  I'm not sure why and once someone asked me if I have a thing for feet...The answer is no.  I do have a thing for shoes though!

I just ordered this newborn baby boy knit hat and diaper cover set for newborn sessions.  eeee!  It's so adorable.  I can't wait.  They make so much out there for little baby girls and I'm excited to see this for baby boys.  I've ordered from Chickyloo on Etsy before and I'm smitten with her customer service, knits and even her packaging.
